School Lunch Hero Day, celebrated annually on the first Friday of May, is a day to recognize and appreciate the hard work of school nutrition professionals who provide nutritious meals to students, ensuring they are well fed and ready to learn.
They not only prepare the food, but also serve it with a smile and a kind word, encouraging children to try new things and get all the nutrients their growing bodies need.
