THE DISTRICT of Bernalillo Public Schools will be hosting a Winter Break Grab n' Go Meal Distribution on Tuesday, Dec 20, 2022 from 10am to 12pm at THE DISTRICT warehouse. The warehouse is located on the BHS campus, and you will need to enter through D gate (west gate) and follow the signs.
Children between the ages of 1 through 18 years of age can receive 11 days worth of FREE Breakfast and Lunch meals. The meals will be first come first serve.

They were chosen by The National Park Service as the only class in NM to have their one-of-a-kind America Celebrates Christmas ornaments displayed around the 2022 National Christmas Tree in Washington, DC.
The ornaments will be on be on display from December 2 through January 1, 2023, and can be seen on the President’s Park Facebook page @npspresidnetpark.
THE DISTRICT of Bernalillo Public Schools Safety Summit 2022 was a great success. We had students, parents, community members, government officials, first responders, board members, and BPS staff attend this day long event. The focus of the summit was safety across the district and communication with local, state, tribal and federal agencies.
Our students played a major part in the discussion and had great ideas to improve safety on our campuses. The summit provided opportunities for collaboration between THE DISTRICT and the community.
THE DISTRICT will continue to have conversations about the importance of school safety for all students and staff. Thank you to all who participated.

THE DISTRICT of Bernalillo Public Schools is asking for donations of NEW shoes/sneakers, socks, underwear, scarfs, gloves, and coats. These items will be distributed throughout the district and will greatly appreciated. All donations of new items can be dropped off daily at the district office at 560 S. Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo between 8 am and 4 pm.
