THE DISTRICT of Bernalillo Public Schools was visited by two members of the REAL McFarland, USA. Johnny Samaniego and Thomas Valles spoke to students, at BHS, BMS, and SDMS, about their experiences in middle and high school, where they were cross country state champions. Their story led to a 2015 Disney film named McFarland, USA.

BMS Fitness Fun Day on Saturday, March 11th was a huge success. The Duke City Gladiators came to work out and play sports with the students. Superintendent Montano and a Gladiator had a push-up contest, and we think the Superintendent won.
