Attention Parents/Guardians, We want to remind you of the upcoming deadline for completing your student's registration for the academic year 2023-24 at Bernalillo Public Schools. It is crucial that you take the necessary steps to ensure a smooth transition for your child. To complete the registration process, please log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal account and click on the 23-24 Registration link. If you have not created an account yet, please visit the Bernalillo Public Schools website and click 23-24 Returning Registration button in the middle of the homepage for instruction to set up your account. Ensure that you have all of the required documentation ready, as any missing information may delay your student's registration. If you encounter any issues during the registration process or require assistance, we are here to help. I want to thank the entire community for the wonderful celebration we were able to share with the Bernalillo High School class of 2023. The evening started out with challenges, but through a true community effort, we were able to appropriately honor our class of 2023, along with our BHS legacy honoree, Benny Shendo, Sr. A special thanks to the class of 2023 sponsor, Miranda Apodaca, our activities coordinator, Jennifer Jaramillo for planning this event well enough that the quick change was still possible for us to make this happen. For all of us, rain is a special blessing, even if it causes inconvenience. I was humbled by so many of our Pueblo families who reminded me of the powerful importance of rain in their traditions. They regarded the entire unfolding of the event as a special celebration especially because of the rain. In fact, one parent this morning let me know that by us having to move the event at the last minute, the rain became part of this celebration and that brought her gratitude. Our communities are widespread, but we are also together as ONE, just as Representative Lente said in his inspiring speech. I thank each of you that attended for your patience, but also for the enthusiasm you shared with our graduates. What started out as a challenge was a special night for all.
