Hello Bernalillo Middle School Families, BMS is hosting a MESA Food Drive between now and November 18th. If you are able to provide any nonperishable food items, send them with your children to school. We are having a competition between the different grades to see who can bring the most food for a prize.

Peer Leadership Council will be hosting a Halloween dance Monday October 31st. Students can purchase tickets for the dance through GoFan.co. Tickets will be $5, this includes a drink and bag of chips.

Albuquerque Aloft - BES and BMS Field
Nearly 200 pilots who are registered for Balloon Fiesta signed up to participate in Albuquerque Aloft this year. Pilots tether or launch their balloons from selected school grounds.
On Friday morning, 9/30, we will have a balloon launch from our field at 6:45am. Please come join us!

During the summer, the district performed PowerSchool maintenance where we discovered a large number of parent and student portal accounts were either not being used, or the contact information was no longer current.
In our efforts to have current and accurate contact information in our student information system, we found it was beneficial to disable all portal accounts from prior school years.
If you or your students would like a new PowerSchool
portal account, please contact your student's school registrar for your Access ID and password.
We are sorry if this has caused you any inconvenience and hope you have a great school year.

Hello Bernalillo Middle School Families, this is Anthony Jaramillo, Assistant Principal with some important information about 6th grade jumpstart and the first days of school.
We are excited to welcome our 6th grade students, August 16th at 7:30am until 2:30pm for a Jumpstart day. On this day only our 6th grade students will be on campus to become familiar with BMS. All students will return August 17th at 7:30am for our first day of school.
We have changed our student drop-off/pick-up location. Students will now be dropped off and picked up on the north side of campus. The new drop-off/pick-up lane can be accessed through Camino Don Tomas. Any students walking will also use the sidewalks on the north side of campus.
