The BPS Board of Education is sponsoring a District-Wide Read-a-Thon in support of increasing literacy with all students. The Read-A-Thon will begin in September with pizza prizes awarded to the class at each school who has read the most books during a given month.   The BPS Board of Education supports the work outlined in the new Striving Readers Grant which allocates over 2 million dollars over a three year period.
