Put Your Paws on a Good Book and Paws to Read!
Thanks to Mrs. Isabel Tapia, Native American Academic Tuto, some lucky BMS students have the opportunity to practice their reading skills with a Reading Education Assistance dog. Two beautiful and very attentive dogs, Cody and Lakota, come to our library twice a week to spend one-on-one reading time with students as part of the Tales of Joy R.E.A.D. Program.
Scholastic Book Fair Updates
BMS held our Fall Book Fair November 12-16, which was a great success thanks to this year's Student Crew who helped publicize and assist with the Fair. A highlight of this event was the arrival of the just released, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel. Many students were happy to purchase this new title of the popular series.
Our spring Book Fair will take place in March 2013. For those who cannot attend the Fair in person, you can support our school by shopping online from Febrary 24 through March 16th, by clicking on the link below:
