The BHS Guidance Counseling Department strives to achieve these goals by providing a quality, comprehensive guidance program addressing academic, personal/social, and career development. In doing so, the Guidance Counseling Department supports the BHS Mission Statement to Ensure the opportunity for excellence of the whole individual through an educational environment which encourages achievement, life-long learning, and global responsibility. Through these efforts, the focus of the Guidance Counseling Department is on helping to prepare students to lead fulfilling lives and contribute as highly productive members of society.
