GRANTS

Grants are a type of student aid that is awarded by the federal or state government. Generally, grants for college students do not have to be repaid.

  Grants are based upon financial need, as calculated by the college or university you attend.  The first step in applying for federal and state grants is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
