A
The BPS Curriculum is posted on the Network server.
Click on "My Computer"
Then click on the "I" drive
Next choose the "District Cocuments" folder
Then choose "Essential Dist. Curriculum" folder.
There you will find a folder labeled "BPS Curriculum Guide"
This is orgainzed by subject area. Here you can also find templates for EPSS (Education Plan for Student Success).
4)  Q What is the web address for the New Mexico State Standards?
A
http://www.sde.state.nm.us
Here you can also find Adequate Yearly Progress Reports and Licensure Information.
5)  Q How do I maintain my computer?
A
1. Keep computer and printer covered when not being used. (Vacations, Summer) Dust and lint can destroy computer equipment.

2. When you clean your monitor, keyboard and CPU be sure the equipment is shut off. Wipe the equipment with a moist cloth or Pre-moistened Anti-Static Wipe. (Do not allow liquids to drip into the equipment.) Keep food and drinks away from electronic equipment.
6)  Q What do I do when my computer freezes and I can't move anything on my screen?
A
The first step is to press the "Ctrl, Alt, and Delete" keys all at the same time. You will see a window open that asks if you want to end the task. You will press OK.

If the problem continues, hold you power button on your computer down until your machine shuts down. This procedure will reset your computer. This method should only be used as a last resort.
7)  Q When I attempt to Log-on I keep getting sent back to the Log-on window. Why is this happening?
A
All staff and students have a log-on limit. If the computer you are on does not allow you to log-on, you are probably logged on at another district computer and therefore can not be logged on again. You can call our office at 867-5781 for assistance.
8)  Q How can I prevent the Limit Log-on from happening?
A
Be sure to Log Off (Click "Start", then "Log Off") before shutting the computer down and turning it off. Shutting off the computer does not automatically log you off.
9)  Q I'm a new teacher to the district. Who can I contact to have my classroom website set-up and to recieve training on creating my webpages?
A
You can contact the Michelle Padilla at the Education Technology Department (867-7829).
